I usually don’t write reviews for any services or products, but the service I received from the Canada Waterproofers team was exceptional, and I truly believe they need to be recognized and appreciated for the way they are conducting their business. My Personal Experience: After I was told over the phone by another plumbing company that the basement ceiling leak was most likely a result of masonry issues, I called Canada Waterproofers to come and investigate. From the initial call with their receptionist, the service was very professional and friendly. Andrii, a waterproofing expert, got in touch with me and made an appointment for a free consultation. He showed up very promptly and was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. After his investigation, he diagnosed the problem and concluded that it was a plumbing issue, not masonry. Andrii was nice enough to arrange a phone call from their own plumber (Val) for me. Val showed up at our house for an initial investigation and was able to find the suspected leaking area behind the wall within an hour of investigation, without opening extra holes all over the ceilings and walls. Val does an incredible job. He is smart, meticulous, thorough, and very skilled. He worked tirelessly throughout the day on his second visit to prepare the area and replace the leaking portion of the drain pipes inside the wall and ceiling. Once he was finished, he went above and beyond to clean up the space. Val is very honest and pleasant, and I feel that I was provided with the best possible service. As I was writing this review, Val sent me a text message to follow up on his work. This is another sign of great service. Thank You Val...! I feel relieved that I know who to call from now on for a water leak or plumbing related issues. If you ever have water related and plumbing problems inside or outside of the house, don’t waste your time looking elsewhere - just call Canada Waterproofers. You won’t regret it. They are professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and fair. When I told my friends, family, and neighbours about my experience, they all asked for Canada Waterproofers contact information, which I gladly provided to them. Big thanks to Andrii and Val for their expertise at diagnosing and resolving the situation. Great team with a great coordinator. Andrew is straightforward and genuine. And his crew are efficient and polite. Job was completed in less then half a day. 10/10 would reccomend.

We contacted Canada Waterproofers on a Friday and had a callback sameday and then advised their plumber, Valentine would call which he did within 1 business day. Valentine offered to come the same week to conduct a site inspection. He would waive the inspection charge if we gave him the job (which is more than fair!). Long story short, the following week, Valentine came by and resolved all of our issues. Valentine is incredibly trustworthy, knowledgeable and had answers for all of our issues which was very comforting. Valentine is also a very nice person and very informative! If you have any plumbing needs, I strongly recommend you give Canada Waterproofers a try!

Service was great. Could not ask for more. Andrew responded quickly to my request and provided a reasonable quotation and a solution to my basement waterproofing issue. The crew showed up on-time and completed the work very quickly. They also cleaned up after themselves. I was very happy with the work. I had some questions about the company's warranty and Carl - the owner - was happy to clarify and ensure that I was comfortable for the future. Good folks and good work.

Carl and his team did a fantastic job, waterproofing a small section of our foundation, installing a proper drain in a window well and putting everything back together, looking snazzy. Carl really knows his stuff and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him and Canada Waterproofers again (although I’m sure hoping we don’t have to!). Thanks so much!!

Carl and his team at Canada Waterproofers are 10/10 both in their absolute professionalism, care for their customers and their quality of work. After the major storms in mid July hit the GTA most of the homes on our street experienced flooding. Only a few homes did not flood, two of which Carl’s team had previously worked on to do waterproofing efforts - so they came already highly recommended from our neighbours. They were timely in their communication, thorough and transparent in walking us through our options. They completed the work in a timely manner with great attention to detail and respecting the space they work in. We had another set of big storms shortly after they had completed our job and our house stayed bone dry! :) Two other neighbours of ours have also used them since our job and both had the same great experience we did. Would 100% recommend- they are one of the good ones!

Canada Waterproofers are excellent in their trade. I would highly recommend them if you need waterproofing. Had some water issues in my basement and wanted to be certain they were addressed before finishing the basement. Carl helped me understand what was needed and walked me through the options and gave his recommendations. He was one of three quotes that I received. His quote was fair and I appreciated his helpful advice and professionalism. Every question was answered quickly and gave me a lot of confidence in my decision. When the work started, Dimitri and his crew worked quickly, taking care to keep me informed. They exceeded my expectations on how well they treated my house (wrapping furniture, furnace, freezer, washer/dryer and minimizing the dust spread on the house). I couldn’t believe how hard they worked to get the job done. It’s clear to see the level of pride in the work they do. Thanks to both Dimitri and Carl for a job very well done!

Carl came by for a second quote on a drain line replacement, and took the time to make sure we needed the work done. After 30 minutes of work we talked through what was actually needed and ended up saving us thousands. So generous with his time, excellent communication, trustworthy & above all just a super decent person. Highly recommend.
