Although architecturally designed, Shaun made excellent suggestions that solved unforeseen problems and made efficient use of every inch of valuable space. We had our full Kitchen and Living Room wall unit made from Aura kitchens. A fair size cabinets manufacturer /retailer. I was able to work one-on-one with both Mr. Onkar Singh and his partner Mr. Preet Singh, a highly knowledgeable and experienced team. Preet’s factory built all cabinets from scratch locally in their Mississauga plant. Prices weren’t actually much different from pre-built, and this offered us the ability to do whatever we wanted with the layout. Realistically cabinets are just boxes, where you can really make it or break it on price is the board materials, hardware and the doors. In our case he built the cabinets in my neighborhood. Preet and his team are so friendly, professional, and skillful in both workmanship and qualities. They finished our complete kitchen including quartz island and a full wall unit for our living room within just a few days. Preet was able to get me not only a custom-built high quality kitchen, but also a super responsible services and supports. Whatever Preet promised, he delivered. Plus, when one piece came in with a slight blemish in the cabinet surfaces, they insisted on taking it back and having the cabinet redo and replaced. And all of this was completed within the same week. Having done it this way, I’ll never do pre-fab cabinets again. I wouldn’t even think of going to a big box place after my experience working with Preet and his company.
I have nothing but positive things to say about Firmbuilt and highly recommend their contracting services if you are interested in having a quality job done with your renovations. Melissa and Larry and the rest of their team put excellent care into everything from the planning stages to the final walk through. Communication was excellent every step of the way. An online portal for the project helped to show the timeline and also made sense of the financial management. My project was completed within the time expected and I couldn’t be happier with the results. They transformed my 1950s bungalow into a modern updated space and offered suggestions on design when it was helpful. The work involved conversion from an oil to gas heating system, updating the electrical panel (and some rewiring throughout the house), reconfiguring the main living space by opening up the wall between two rooms, a complete kitchen renovation and bathroom renovation, repainting the interior and other cosmetic touch ups throughout. They also constructed many storage spaces and closet area throughout and added main floor closeted laundry area. I am so glad to have chosen this team! I would give them six stars if possible.
