You won't find a better design and build firm to build your basement than Harmony. From the initial design consultation with Diego all the way through to the build, the service was top-notch. This company builds thing the right way. At all stages, the necessary permits were pulled. Navigating the permit process with the City of Toronto was especially challenging, but Harmony worked diligently. Special thanks to Diego, Roy and the rest of the Harmony team. Diego in particular is a talented architect and designer and made many wonderful suggestions. Roy was fantastic at shepherding the build from beginning to end. The end result is superb. A basement by Harmony will truly increase the value of your home. Thanks Harmony!

Harmony Basements exceeded our expectations with our recent basement renovation. The project was complex and involved removing a structural wall and replacing it with a 17-foot long steel beam, new steel posts, and new footings. They demonstrated a profound understanding of the intricacies involved in such a task, and their execution was remarkable. It’s been a couple months now and we’re very happy with our Harmony basement renovation. The team did a great job and was very easy to work with from start to finish. What sounded impossible was done in approximately 45 days! The most impactful moments for us - outside of the great work every single one of the contractors and team delivered on to make this basement a reality - were: 1) Great consulting and delivery on the quote; of all the service partners that we engaged, Harmony Basements was the most transparent and detailed in helping us make an informed decision. 2) Sound design advice from Stefany on all counts and love how the accent wall came out! 3) Too many contractors to all name - but lets start with Diego, a great PM and Architect that demonstrated great pride in the work of Harmony Basements. We had some interesting discussions throughout the process, what I came away with was appreciation for the open communication, timely updates shared, and when things were not going according to plan - how he went about communicating that and making sure we were satisfied with the decisions made. We were and are! Thank you as well to : Luke, John, Flavio, Roberto, Moses, Jeff, Jo, Gurdev, Julian, Roy and the other hardworking folks that gave us this great space. 4) True workmanship pride, the follow-up during the inspection process, making sure that everything was exactly as intended and discussed and providing guidance / solutions that helped us make informed decisions. LOVE LOVE LOVE this new space we have downstairs, thank you Harmony Basements! I would definitely recommend them!

My husband and I hired Harmony Basements to complete our basement and we are absolutely thrilled with the end results! Diego was a terrific project manager and extremely approachable at all times. He was honest with us, which we appreciated and was attentive ensuring all necessary details we wanted were captured and completed successfully. He is truly passionate and cares about his work which is evident within his work ethic itself. Every group that came in such as the electricians, drywall, mudding, baseboards, cleaners etc. were all extremely polite, clean and timely. They all showed up on time, if not earlier and the basement was completed within schedule. Any required touch up's needed after the fact were also done. In the beginning phases we did go back and forth with the contract clarifying a few things along with adding upgrades, removing items and so forth. However, reading the contract thoroughly and questioning it to fully understand it is something you should always do. We had no hidden costs after the fact. The entire process was smooth and pleasant! Overall, we are pleased with Harmony Basements and would recommend them to anyone! Thank you Diego and team for a job well done! Very disappointed with the whole basement renovation. Poor lack of vision, terrible project management, poor workmanship by most of their contractors (drywallers, painters, flooring, plumbers). For the money I paid I was expecting better quality products and attention to detail. We had to pay for a lot of upgrades just to get some quality products installed. I would advise anyone who is thinking of using this company for basement renovation to be home during the entire renovation process as you will need to keep a close eye on the workmanship of the contractors. They will conveniently forget to install items in their contract. As for the warranty this company claims to provide, it is not worth the paper it's written on. I would advise you to read it over very carefully. When they repair something, be prepared to finish the job yourself as they will claim they do not cover drywall finishing and painting. We would not recommend this company for basement renovations. Do your homework before considering giving your money to this company. We find the reply from Harmony Basements very concerning, misleading and without facts. We have pictures and email we can share with potential clients.

My basement was built by Harmony in May 2018, yes.. TWO years ago and I am writing a review now, two years later. My reason for writing a review two years later is because during my time, I have worked with a lot of trades people and often I find that most trades like to do their work and quickly move on to the next job, not giving a care about the job they just completed. These companies don't stand by their final product, they will make it look good for the first few months and after that when a few items go wrong, they don't care to come back and fix it. Based on this experience, I decided to write my review of Harmony Basements two years later at the end of the two year warranty that they offer. After two years, Harmony Basements STANDS BY there final product. Harmony has built the BEST, RELIABLE and ABSOLUTELY STUNNING basement that I and my entire family has seen. Most reviews like start from the beginning to the end of their project, but I'm going to do the opposite and start from my warranty coverage to the very beginning stages of construction. Warranty/Customer Service: 10/10 What I find so great about Harmony was the fact that they care about their final product. During the last two years, I had two very minor issues with my basement which was a result of my own choice/mistake. I contacted Harmony to get these two issues resolved and they scheduled the repair days later. Most trades do not even pick up the phone when I call but Harmony takes their warranty and final product serious! One of the minor issues was my washroom faucet, it was leaking water. I did not use the faucet that Harmony provided, I used a Glacier Bay faucet (stay away from Glacier Bay faucets) and when I noticed the leak I contacted Harmony. They came days later to ensure that the leak was not coming from the pipes. It was a faulty washer in the glacier bay faucet, I wish I had used the Harmony faucet initially, but Harmony, actually caring about their final product removed the glacier bay faucet and installed a new faucet for me. They had no reason to change the faucet as it was not their own, but being the great and compassionate company that they are, they fixed it for me. This is one of the reasons why I absolutely love Harmony.. they have an amazing warranty coverage and amazing customer service. Plumbing/Hvac/Electrical/Drywall - 10/10 what more can I say?! Perfect! KITCHEN - 100/10 .. yes 100 out of 10 Let's just say the finishing in our basement kitchen area is better then our upstairs kitchen! This is the 'wow' factor in our basement. See the pictures below yourself. Also, we made changes as the kitchen was being built, Harmony did an excellent job listening and helping us make those changes happen. They cared so much about how we envisioned our basement. Claudio/Diego - 10/10 It is very rare to find people in the construction business to be honest and forth coming. I have been 'hustled' by so many trades people but Claudio and Diego are different. These two take so much pride in the product they give to their customers. They are honest and respectful and most importantly TRUTHFUL!! These are the people you want to invest in when it comes to building your DREAM basement. I'm very thankful to have them build my basement for my family and I. Thank you guys! To sum it all up.. yes you have your Penguin Basements, AGM.. but they are NOT even at the SAME LEVEL as Harmony. Harmony said they would make my basement look better then the main floor and that's what they exactly did! You want QUALITY and HONESTY.. go with Harmony!!!

We are very pleased with the overall quality and finish. These guys are seriously committed to do a good job maintaining direct and constant communication with us throught the project. Harmony Basements have met our expectations. They have done a good job. Our first meeting with Claudio and Diego went well we knew right away after they told us and explained the process we knew they knew what they were doing. We had all the options explained to us and how the company operates. The material selections was done quick and easy in the decor studio located in Woodbridge at the their main office. The decor studio manager and selections coordinator understood what we wanted. Their customer service were always ready to assist us or answer any questions. Very important to us Harmony did not came up with any surprises and changes just the normal issues any construction site would have. In conclusion great work from Claudio’s team of managers, scheduling and communication, no complaints there. 10 for him and his team. Everything was managed in a professional and timely manner. There were NO unexpected delays and Everybody was in the house as planned. Harmony Basements has taken care of our investment and put in their best efforts every day. We have already recommend Harmony Basements to friends and family.

Harmony basements guys were extremely friendly and polled. it was pleasure to meet them, special Diego. We spend long time on the design of my 1200 Sq’f basement specially the stars way and they came out with lots of perfect ideas. i loved every single spot that was designed. The time came to get the price, they announce to me a $100,000.00. i was speechless for a moment, and then they told me do not worry they will make me a special discount, the price came down to $53,000.00. i paid them deposit of $3000.00 and schedule a date to start the project. Be honest i had some personal issues i ask them to reschedule for few times.The day before the beginning the project manager came and to look at the site and told me that there is an issue with my stars way, and we need to redesign it. Next Diego called me and told me that it will cost me an extra $10,000.00. i told him that i did’t hide the stars from him on the date of estimate and price was firmed, i told him that i don’t agree with the price change and asked him for half of my deposit back, i do appreciate the design they did and the time they spend but they can’t change the price after 6 hours of negutiations , my time is also valued. unfortunately by Law he sad you had 10 day after sign the agreement to cancel it, we will not refund your full or partial deposit. Expect your price will be changed.
