We cant thank Vlad and his team at Next Level Construction for making our tired old house feel like a new home! Vlad is a true professional. Experienced, fair and candid. Vlad is skilled at most (if not all trades) and expects the same of his staff. They work hard, only stop for a lunch break and keep on pushing. We had a number of change orders along the way and he offered advice while demonstrating patience and was fair with the revised scope of work and related costs. Paint, trim, tiles, finishes were done to perfection. Renovating is NOT a dust-free experience, but Vlads team was diligent to keep the existing floors protected, dust contained as best as possible and cleaned up at the end of the day. Scope of work: New tilt and turn windows and patio doors throughout the house New solid wood doors throughout New trim throughout Prep/plaster walls and paint throughout New hardwood flooring and stairs Moved non-structural walls to reconfigure powder room and front hall powder room Remodel powder room (tiling, install fixtures) Remodel 2nd bath (tiling, shower/glass and fixtures) Convert wood-burning fireplace to gas (included considerable demolition of existing brick surround) Bump out walls to integrate new fireplace and entertainment system in family room Installed/relocated electrical outlets as needed Installed pot lights and switches as needed Remodel laundry room (including tiling & relocation of washer/dryer) Remove laundry window and fill in with brick to match existing (repurposed from fireplace) With this scope of work, we had to move everything out of our house (except kitchen and basement contents, which were not part of the project). I would hire Next Level Construction again in a heartbeat and would recommend them for your next renovation!

Vlad and his team did a few projects for me. The main project was finishing a basement with hardwood and painting all of my walls. He also repaired my backyard interlocks and lastly did some rerouting of weeping titles on one side of my house. Their workmanship is great and I'm happy with quality of the work. But Vlad had some qualities that are as important as the quality to me . First is being super accurate on time estimation and finishing all the projects spot on with his estimate. Second is that Vlad wouldn't leave you hanging if you are not happy with a part of finished product. One example of that was that we agree to use caulking around the base of glass panels in my basement. When it was done I didn't think it looked good. He then changed those with some steel panels which looked great. There was a couple more examples of that. Third is that he would go the extra mile because he cares about his work and his customer. He went out and bought extra slabs of interlock to make look nicer even though he didn't have to and could have left it the way the original contactor left it. I almost always have bad experiences with my contractors and Vlad is going to be my go to person for any other project.

Vlad is the best!! He and his wonderful crew at Next Level Construction did a huge reno of our entire home – inside and out – which took under a year. He completely transformed our old-fashioned, tired home that we loved into a sleek, gorgeous and inviting home that we are in love with! Vlad stayed on budget, on time and on point every step of the way during construction. He turned an oversized, rundown bathroom into a new laundry room and bright bathroom for my daughter. He converted our traditional and dark living room, kitchen and sunroom to become a modern open concept that is sunny and charming. From the back fence and cabana to the front landscaped garden with walk-up stones, every stitch of our house was reinvented and upgraded beautifully by Next Level. One note I’d like to add. As a female homeowner, I have dealt with trades and contractors before who have talked down to me or never talked to me and went right to my husband. Not so with Vlad. He always respected my opinion and sought me out to get my sign-off on every step. He is a good soul and so is his crew of quiet, talented craftsmen who do their job without making excess noise or mess. Can you tell I am a big fan of this company? I cannot recommend Next Level Construction highly enough. Vlad and his team are consummate professionals and craftsmen, their work on our home renovation was flawless, on both the interior and exterior of our house. The work was done on time, on budget and with as little disturbance to our family’s lives as we could have possibly hoped for. Vlad was always available to discuss any concerns we might have and came up with solutions that put our minds at ease. Neighbours are constantly stopping to admire the exterior work and friends and family who visit are always in awe of the transformation that Next Level Construction achieved inside of our home. It should be noted too that all this work took place during the worldwide pandemic and Vlad managed to obtain all the materials we wanted and still kept the work on schedule and on budget. Vlad and his team rebuild our deck and did backyard landscaping. His team is one of the most hard working teams I have ever met in my life! They are so efficient, polite, always on time. Quality of work is amazing. You can tell that Vlad has many years of experience in the industry. I will definitely use them for my next project (bathroom renovation).
