We found Valentini on Homestars. We were looking for a turnkey company that could handle a major kitchen renovation for our home in Markham. From the very first meeting and briefing that we had with Piero, we determined that we liked their approach to design and overall project management. We felt our large project would be in good hands and we selected them. We worked together to create the optimal design - often working together into the late hours of the night. Once we had the final design in hand – the renovation began. The kitchen was completely gutted and under the expertise of Piero’s brother, Anthony, the transformation began and our kitchen became a beautiful, functional space, with a design that worked so well with our home’s open style concept. Valentini’s attention to detail and their care was exemplary. They even went over and above and had their electrician to make a quick adjustment to an outside light fixture (not at all in the project scope) because Anthony noticed there was a problem with it. Importantly, they were true to their word…once they started our project they did not take on other projects that would interfere with the timeline until ours was completed. While there were a couple of small glitches along the way (perhaps to be expected with a project with so many different tradesmen) their professionalism and desire to ensure customer satisfaction were commendable. We have since recommended them to our friends and acquaintances for their renovation projects. Would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

Complete kitchen renovation When I purchased my condo in September 2013, I knew I had to renovate the 1980's kitchen. I read great reviews on home stars for Valentini Kitchens and called for an estimate. I met with Piero who was very helpful, and enthusiastic about the project. He had lots of great ideas and was receptive to my requests. He spent a lot of time with me...measuring, planning, going over different plans etc. I had instant trust in him and his company. We agreed on a plan and the work started. Ronny and Travis were the main guys tearing apart and installing my kitchen and Tony was in charge of putting it all back together. They were terrific ! They were always very respectful that I lived there during the reno and cleaned and vacuumed before they left every day. The workmanship was impeccable. Tony has an eye for perfection and made sure everything was exactly what I wanted. Tony was in contact often and I could call him at any time with a concern. All the crews were terrific, Stefano and Stella (drywall and paint) Frank (electrician) and Meryk (plumber) were all professional and their jobs were done to perfection. It is a real pleasure to deal with individuals with a common work ethic. Now that the project is finished... I know I would not change a thing. It is exactly what I asked for and wanted. I could not recommend them more highly.

It has now been just over twenty years since my kitchen renovation and even after all this time I am still very satisfied. I am quite an avid cook and thus make full use of my kitchen, which has held up both functionally and aesthetically. Back in 2003, I had heard about Valentini Kitchens through a friend of a friend. At the time I was a first-time home buyer (a condo in an older building near Yonge and Bloor), in my early thirties, on a budget, and quite nervous. The kitchen was the original one, and it needed a complete overhaul. It was Piero and Marco's late father Michele ("Mike") who patiently guided me through the process. I will be forever grateful to him for his kindness and generosity. He listened to me, and took all my wants and needs into consideration. Not a single detail went overlooked. Most of all, he gave me a chance. And I am also incredibly thankful to this day for Tony's meticulous and punctual installation. The project progressed smoothly and quickly and stayed within my budget. The quality of the materials they use is also top-notch. I have recommended Valentini Kitchens since then to my friends and family and will definitely use them in the near future for an upcoming bathroom renovation. A great big grazie mille for the excellent work. I still cannot believe my good luck for having come across such an excellent company. After 20 years, I will still use Valentini Kitchens... in fact, my bathroom is due for a reno and they will be the first place I will contact. And when my kitchen needs some freshening up, I will reach out to Piero, without any hesitation.

We hired Piero and his team to completely renovate our “new” home, including: removing a load bearing wall and extensive structural work; replacing the wiring, ductwork and plumbing throughout the house; replacing the floors; installing a gas fireplace; installing some new windows and doors; a new kitchen and bathroom; and painting. Our house was nearly 100 years old and had not been well cared for by the previous owners. This was a big project for us and at every stage, Piero and his team went above and beyond what we expected. Our first meetings with Piero showed both his passion and attention to detail. Piero took over three hours to take detailed measurements and have extensive discussions with us to understand our vision for the house. As we progressed through the planning process, Piero’s enthusiasm was contagious. He understood the look we were going for better than we were and provided excellent suggestions on finishes. One of the major aspects of this project was removing a load bearing wall and repairing and levelling the floors and walls. Mauro and Nick inspired a great deal of confidence that this would be done correctly. Mauro in particular was a key part of this project. He really understands what old houses like ours need. The renovation would not have been a success without his involvement, knowledge, attention to detail and craftsmanship. He is also a great person and was always happy to explain what he was doing and why he was doing it. Once the walls were closed, things moved very quickly, but Piero, Anthony and their team ensured that no detail was overlooked. The trim work, cabinetry, floors and tile work exceeded every expectation. Everyone who has seen the house can’t believe it, and we feel the same. To top it off, Piero, Olivia, Anthony and their family cleaned our house from top to bottom until the early hours of the morning the night before we were moving in. Who does that? It is cliché, but I truly believe that they cared about our house like it was their own. Needless to say, we recommend Valentini without hesitation.

Kitchen Renovation When I decided to redo my kitchen, I was given a couple of referrals from friends of friends, but in the end, I went to Homestars and read the reviews of various companies. I am so glad that I did because that is where I found Valentini kitchens. From the moment that Piero walked through my door on a snowy Friday night in January to give me an estimate for my kitchen, I knew I was in good hands. It was a terrible snow storm, but Piero showed up as promised, and spent 4 hours with me, discussing his ideas and drawing everything out. Just before midnight, Piero headed home, putting no pressure on me whatsoever to make a decision. Although the estimate was a bit more than I had budgeted for, I decided that Valentini was my choice. Piero was so friendly, caring, knowledgeable, and I felt that he would treat my kitchen as if it were his own. I would not be disappointed. Not a single day went by without someone coming to work on the kitchen. A lockbox was placed on the front door, so there was never a need for me to be home. I totally trusted Piero and his team. Everyone in the team was polite, friendly, and very skilled, including Jaoa the painter, Frank the electrician, Peter the plumber, Ronny the tiler, and Paul the assistant. And then there was Piero's brother Anthony. Words can't describe how wonderful he was. Anthony's attention to detail was something I had never seen before. I couldn't believe how picky he was. The work he did installing the cabinets was unbelievable. He even built customized heating vents into the bottom of my island cabinets. His workmanship needs to be seen to be believed. He is a gem! Communication was always very important to Piero. He was in touch with me at least once a day to let me know how things were going and was always giving me scheduling updates. I don't know how he was able to organize everything so that it all came together like clockwork. Everyone at Valentini was a pleasure to work with, and at all times I felt that my happiness and satisfaction was of utmost importance. Anthony, Piero, and the team cannot be beaten. I am so grateful for the work that they did. Everyone who has visited me can't believe what a terrific job they did. On final inspection, I was unable to find the slightest thing that needed to be fixed. They have given me my dream kitchen. I will have them back to redo my bathroom, but if you are looking to have your kitchen redone, look no further than Valentini Kitchens. They are the best and you won't be disappointed. Although they cost a little more than the average kitchen Reno company, they are worth every penny. These before and after pictures say it all. Thanks to everyone at Valentini Kitchens for a job well done. I am thrilled with my new kitchen, and you managed to exceed all of my expectations.

It was hard to find the right contractor (it took 5-6 months). After failing to find someone we liked through friends and some large cabinet/designer companies, Home Stars website helped us find Valentini Kitchens. Our Kitchen renovation involved removing a loadbearing wall, moving a doorway (which became a pocket door), adding a large opening looking into another room (again in a loadbearing wall), our 1980’s dropped ceiling removed, plumbing, HVAC, tiling, electrical, countertops, drywall, painting, moldings and of course cabinetry. This was a total kitchen transformation. Valentini Kitchens is a family owned business and it shows in the way they care about every aspect of their work. Renovations are a messy business. Valentini Kitchens covered the floors, set up vapor barriers to reduce the air borne dust, blocked vents and cleaned up every day. Piero, the face of Valentini Kitchens, is a very likeable guy who really listens and works with you to create a design. His experience really showed in the great ideas he brought up when we first showed him our kitchen. Before he had left, Piero had already created rough sketches (which he later turned into beautiful computer generated 3D drawings). Most people are concerned about hearing from their contractor after handing over their 1st payment. Communication with Piero actually became more frequent. After each tradesman had done some work, Piero would call to make sure we were happy and would answer all of our questions. Piero was always working behind the scenes, making sure the product and the trades were lined up to avoid delays. Tony, Piero’s brother, is a perfectionist who really takes pride in making and installing his cabinetry. Tony is invaluable! He attends to every detail as if he was working on his own mother’s home. Speaking of the product, the cabinets are of very high quality with exceptional finishes and hardware. The product is not inexpensive, but it is of good value and built to last. Piero and his brother Tony have assembled an excellent team of professional tradesmen (not handymen, where the same guy does plaster, tile work, plumbing and electrical). If you read a good number of the reviews you will see that many of the tradesmen have been working with Valentini Kitchens for quite a few years. You can’t help but be impressed at how every worker respected the fact that they were in YOUR home. Piero kept us informed of who and when we were to expect someone at our house. He placed a lockbox on our door so each tradesman could come and go as needed. We never had any concerns that there would be any problems. They even made sure our indoor cat never got outside. These guys worked diligently. Very few of the tradesmen smoked, and any that did, did it outside. The tradesmen really respected each other, so much so that they would tell you about the great work of the next tradesman. Valentini Kitchens truly transformed not only our kitchen but the whole first level of our home. We have had a lot of people come in and remark on how fantastic the kitchen looks. I encourage you to take a look at our before and after photos. As good as the photos look, they still cannot capture the beauty of this kitchen. We have and will continue to highly recommend Valentini Kitchens to friends, family and co-workers. We will certainly call on them when we are ready for our next project. Thanks guys, Linda and Gerald

Master Ensuite Bathroom, Second Bathroom and Laundry Room Renovation After having my kitchen and powder room renovated by Valentini Kitchens in 2013; I was so happy with the final product that I decided to have them redo my master ensuite; second bathroom and laundry room. The job entailed removal of two closets in order to extend the master bathroom and having everything demolished to the 'bare bones'. The final results were amazing! My bathrooms looked like they had been 'lifted' from a designer magazine and even my daughter couldn't believe how everything had been transformed (and she's even more picky than I am). As always, they were extremely detail oriented in every aspect from the initial drawings to the choice of materials, colours, fixtures etc. A big thank you to Piero (the designer and great listener); Frank (electrician); Marek (plumber); Joao (painter); Raony (tiler and jack-of-all trades); Dave who helped prepare and clean everything up at the end of the day and all the other behind-the-scenes people. A very special thanks goes out to Anthony (and his assistant) for the detailed eye to craftsmanship and perfectionism in the construction of my cabinets and vanities, and their ultimate installation--they are truly something to be admired! As I had mentioned last year; Anthony truly is an "Old World Master"--a very rare individual indeed. Everyone who has seen the final product has been extremely impressed; I highly recommend Valentini Kitchens to anyone who is contemplating any type of renovation. Keep up the excellent work!

Full Condo Renovations in Mid Town Toronto. We recently purchased a two-bedroom condominium built in 1980 that needed a total renovation that included: designing an open concept Living Room/Kitchen with Custom Cabinetry, new Hardwood Flooring throughout, both Washrooms remodeled with Custom Cabinetry and Tile Flooring, converting a Bathtub Enclosure into a full Walk-in Shower with a heightened ceiling, installation of an updated electrical panel, LED pot lights in the kitchen, both bathrooms and both bedrooms. We were novices in the Reno process so we interviewed three Top Ranked Contractors from the various online review sites specializing in design/build. Valentini Kitchens was by far the obvious choice. We saw Piero’s passion and commitment to his family owned business and were very impressed by his vision for our project. He was helpful and patient guiding us through every step of the design, planning and remodeling management process. We were especially impressed with Tony’s workmanship on the cabinetry both its Construction and Installation. He paid great attention to the finer details of the Cabinets. A TRUE ARTISAN. Piero is supported by a very strong team of dedicated tradesmen who undertook all aspects of the Renovation. We would like to acknowledge and thank Marty for supervising the onsite work, Andrew and Sebastian’s great job of Demolition, Framing, Drywall and beautiful Tiling, John the plumber, Joe for his detailed finishing work with the Trim and Doors, Alfee and Donato’s Flooring crew for all the beautiful Engineered Hardwood Flooring and Especially Olivia for her keen eye for Paint selections and Finishing Ideas. A special thanks to Frank the Electrician who solved many Electrical challenges. We are so very happy with the Condo Renovations, All due to Piero, Tony and Entire Valentini Kitchen's fantastic crew. We unhesitatingly recommend them.

My daughter had Valentini completely rework her house in Toronto. I asked whether they would come all the way to Grimsby to re-do my upstairs bathrooms, and they did! I showed Piero and Marty what we had - in the main front bathroom, we had renovated it to accommodate a disabled family member. Since the accessibility features were no longer needed, we decided to revert it back to a standard bathroom, with a few upgrades: floor heating and new tile, new jacuzzi bathtub and glass shield, as well as cosmetic updates. In the Master ensuite, which had not been touched since the house was built in the 1970's, we removed the avocado green, and burnt orange floral tiles, demolished the 4'x4' stall shower, and doubled the size of the shower area. The entire room got a facelift, with fresh tiles, custom glass dividers, vanity and toilet. The master bedroom received a new coat of paint, and master and hallway both got gorgeous new walnut hardwood flooring. Piero and his team were always reachable, answered all our questions, and accommodated us by doing most of the work during our vacation absence. We can't say enough about Marty and Andrew, their work is outstanding. Tony, as always - meticulous with his hands-on finishing of cabinetry and trim. Frank went above and beyond with the Electrical work - including finding potentially hazardous problems, and fixing them... not to mention identifying a heating/air con duct that had not been attached to the upstairs probably since the house was built! Yuri's plumbing work was excellent, and Luchio & his Hardwood crew did a phenomenal job installing the gorgeous hardwood. Having seen the incredible job they did at my daughter's house, I was really looking forward to see what they could do at mine. I was not disappointed - they created a masterpiece.

kitchen, bathroom, living room Kitchen Planning & Renovation review in Toronto12/31/2010 The reno involved demolition of existing kitchen in a 60yo home. We hired Valentini kitchens for the job prior to moving in (there was a 6 week period). The job was completed before we moved. This is despite our adding to the job (flooring and painting of upstairs and reno of a bathroom). We are very pleased with the quality of the kitchen cabinetry.
